Courage Classic weekend deconstructed:

Finish Line is Back in Copper’s Center Village! For those of you who rode in 2021, disregard that little social distancing change, we are back to business as usual! Your rider registration includes daily breakfast, stocked aid stations every 10-15 miles, lunch on course on Saturday, and the Finish Line BBQ on Sunday.

Friday 7/15 4:00pm-8:00pm
- Registration/Packet Pick-up/ Rider Goodies available in the Conference Center of Center Village next door to Jack’s
- Happy Hour and your free drink tickets available here too!
- Velofix bike mechanics available in Eagle’s Landing (the grass in center village)
Saturday 7/16 Day 1
- Vail Pass Construction Detour
- CDOT is making Vail Pass Recreation Path Improvements that will affect this year’s Courage Classic Saturday Route. All Saturday routes will include an 8-foot paved detour path while they relocate a two-mile section of the Vail Recreation Trail and build two bridges to cross this trail over Black Gore Creek. The project team is currently constructing the temporary trail detour, which is expected to be operational by June. For more information on this project please click here.
- 5:30am -7:30am Breakfast – Jack’s Slopeside Grill and Rider Check-in
  - Copper Loop 80 mile we will leave from the starting line in groups at 6:00am, 6:30am, or 7:00am you pick your start time
  - Vail Pass – 42 Mile please gather at 8:00am, 8:30am, or 9:00 am for this route
- Family Ride – Now 12 miles Due to the Vail Pass Construction, our aid station at the top of Vail Pass will be set up at the Black Lakes Picnic Site. This will add approximately 2 miles to Saturday’s Family Ride.
  - Family Route – 12 miles 9:00am departure
- 9am-1:30pm Lunch on Route
- 12pm-5pm Base Camp Activities in Center Village
- 4:00pm – 6:00 pm Team Photo & Happy Hour Party
  (Small bites and beverages will be provided, all are welcome, this is one of the most meaningful hours of the year, IMO)
- 5:30-7:30pm Live Music in Center Village
- 7:30pm On-Stage Courage Classic Program
Sunday 7/17
- 5:30am-7:30am Breakfast – Jack’s
  - Ute Pass we will leave from the starting line in groups at 6:00am, 6:30am, or 7:00am you pick your start time
  - Keystone – 42 Mile please gather at 8:00am, 8:30am, or 9:00 am for this route

The Carter Lake Ride – Redo – Snowed out in May this ride is back on the schedule as the last ride before the Courage Classic. Later starting time with the further drive to Longmont. Roads in Larimer and Boulder counties to beautiful Carter Lake. One of the iconic Wheels Rides.
