Hi Wheels!
Absolute fabulous push in May, we are working on calculations and backend work. Matches will post by the ride but should not be used to meet the minimums. Fortunately, we have plenty of time to reach our $500,000 goal as a team! If you have some late recruiting interest, I have 7 free first time rider registrations left. They save the registration fee, they will need to reach the $500 fundraising minimum. Team WillStrong, I am looking at you 🙂
We are $107,000 away from $6M!!
I am so incredible impressed by each of your individual efforts! Amy Goodner, captain of Kick Cancer’s Ass hosted her 10/12/15th (I don’t actually know) annual Flamingo decorating party and fundraiser Sunday. She broke all her own records, they had 120 flamingos decorated, raising near $5,000. Up from $2,000 years passed. All a result of a real good idea and some dedicated team members and friends to pull the event off. Thank you Amy and great Job Kicking Cancer’s Ass!!! (Pics of flamingos to come)
In these 5 weeks leading up to the Courage Classic many of our training rides are out and backs. Which means if it’s too hard you can hangout and wait for the group to come back or just turn back. We would never drop a rider but people often ride their skill or their time allotment and choose to cut back earlier. That’s totally fine and we will make sure you know where you’re going. This weekend’s ride is up Loveland Pass, starting from Georgetown. We are planning on connecting people to carpool from the i70 and c470 interchange. If you’re interested in carpooling reach out and I can connect you. The ride is 11.6 mile mostly bike path until you reach Loveland Pass, it’s great elevation training without combatting drivers and a steady climb. Loveland Pass is an option to get 4 more miles and just over 1,000 more feet of elevation, and see some snow. Great fundraising photo-op at the top.
I hope to see you there!
