Team Chicken Salad was formed in 1999. The team has had greatly varied in numbers and membership over the years, but has always hung together in some form.
I have always ridden because I love everything about the event- the challenging climbs, the amazing volunteers, the beautiful scenery, the great cause. But until a few years ago, my participation, and I believe everyone else’s was not personal. We had the first direct impact of Children’s on our lives, on behalf of Heather and Pat’s son August.
